how do you open v1 deep six body?

i want to change the head. how do i open it and what kind of glue do i use to get it back together?

I boiled some water, put him in it, then "split" him from the holes in his feet up to his head. Mid-way through, the clear cover popped off.
I used Super Glue / Krazy Glue to put him back together.
