Need a bit of help from a Photoshop expert

Yes, this is custom related. I'm trying to develop a logo for my Earth Defense Force vehicles (though I'll probably call it the Terran Expeditionary Forces instead).

I have ZERO Photoshop skills and no Photoshop anyway, and my attempts to make something are...pathetic, at best using what I do have. So I thought I'd ask and hope someone who feels like doing it (sorry, I can't really offer more than thanks and credit for your image) if they could whip me something up?

What I need is an image of a globe with the words "Terran Expeditionary Forces" spaced in a circle around the edges. Here's a globe I downloaded (not sure if it'll work):

And while I'm at it, I wanted to put the words "51st Combat Wing" in the blank space on this image:

Since the unit I'm focusing on is the 51st Combat Wing, the "Flying Cobras". These'll wind up on the ARC-170 I plan to customize, along with the two smaller fighters I have in mind (a converted Tiger Hawk and thinking a Sith Infiltrator, which will become light and medium fighters.)

When do you need it by? I might be able to work on it Saturday or Sunday night...Maybe BadAsh can be better service though

Here's an idea for the Terran Expeditionary Forces logo. I kind of added more to it than what you were saying. I looked at some Air Force patches and some from Robotech and figured this might be neat.

EXCELLENT! Yes, very nice--better than my original idea (I like the addition of the starfield, really makes it work.)

Both versions work for me--have to see which one my printer prints best (meaning the blue of the sea--my printer can be a little funky with some colors). I'm going to adapt one of these for a background for the figures, that's a definite.
