25th Arms -- After Painting

so, here's a quick question: how are the 25th arms attached, and what of this boil and pop?

my dilemma requires me to assemble an arm after painting -- can this be done?

do i have to crack the torso to get the shoulder joint loose?

is the boil and pop for the forearm joint?

Use a hair dryer. It's WAY easier and cleaner than boiling water.

35-40 seconds on high followed by a quick shove and you should have a reassembled arm with no water involved.

Or a heat gun (hairdryer on crack) on low setting or else your parts might melt. Seriously, been there done that!

I wouldn't recommend painting it before attaching it. Sand the joints, assemble the arm, then paint. Heat can do less than great things to paint. You will need to crack the torso to get the upper arm out, but the lowers can be boil'd and pop'd.

Especially since the main purpose of heat guns is to DESTROY and remove paint.
