Question about the Red Shadows:

Got a tip to share? Have a question about the hobby? Need input on parts or weapons? Have great idea for a custom figure or vehicle? Too lazy to do it, or just want to share the idea with others? All that and more goes in here.

On the troopers, how were the helmets constructed? Was there every a diagram explaining them? Were they one piece pull-overs or two-piece helmet and faceplate?
On the faceplate portion, were the eyes visored with white-covered eye holes, or was the black band with white eyes meant to be the upper face in shadow?

No particular reason I'm asking. No reason at all... :shifty:

I can't remember seeing a breakdown of the Shadows helmets. But if you looks at this pic:

The baron is handing a recruit a Red Shadows uniform. Look closely at the helmet, there doesn't appear to be a faceplate, so I would venture a guess and say that they are 2 part helmets.

If you want any more information, you can't do any better than to come to the HOME of the Red Shadows and Action Force:

Thanks! Between the pic of the Baron handing him the uniform, and the large pic of the charging trooper, it does look like it is two-piece, and the faceplate portion has a hole in it, making the black band a shadow and the white eyes just his eyes.

I'll admit I lurk at bftb, but I don't know why I didn't think to ask this over there. Maybe I didn't want my first post to be a begging one. *L*
