Got a tip to share? Have a question about the hobby? Need input on parts or weapons? Have great idea for a custom figure or vehicle? Too lazy to do it, or just want to share the idea with others? All that and more goes in here.

I ordered some ScrewGrab to try and help me remove some stripped screws in my Joes. It did not work. It was just a gritty mess that did not increase the traction or grip of the screwdriver at all.

The president of the company said it had been years since he had a failure reported back to him. He did offer to refund my money if I send it back

I was just wondering if any of you have tried this product and if you had any positive results

I got my refund today, so I'm somewhat happy.

I wouldn't say it absolutely won't work for Joes, it just didn't work for me. I never seem to have any luck with that kind of stuff. It could have been my screwdriver that wouldn't work well with it. Oh, well

It didn't work for me either. I purchased mine back around the turn of the century.......

I've never tried screw grab, but I do have a decent way to remove old screws.

I take a hardened steel drill bit small enough to fit in side the X shape on the screw and slowly ( with a regular drill)drill old screw till it catches. I then reverse the screw right out. If for some reason the bit comes out of the screw I'll use a smaller Phillips head to back out the screw.
Works 99% of the time.
