Got a tip to share? Have a question about the hobby? Need input on parts or weapons? Have great idea for a custom figure or vehicle? Too lazy to do it, or just want to share the idea with others? All that and more goes in here.

I'm trying to take apart a 25th Snowjob for dying. I dipped the feet in hot water, and they did loosen up, but still felt like I was liable to break them off if I kept pulling.

Am I just being cowardly about giving the final pull, or is there a better way?

For the VOTC joints, I usually make an x-acto slice along the molding seam along the back of the calf or the inside of the hindarm, then use a tiny smear of superglue to seal it back up after taking what I need out. Never had any problems.

I got the feet off the other day. I boiled them, then used my teeth to hold the feet at the ankle and pulled. Worked fine for me.

I hadn't actually tried it, but I suspected boiling and popping would work, just like for the Sigmas. Glad it worked!

Hey Chad you got some really strong choppers my friend. :rotfl:

Now what about taking the upe arms off, do you have to crack the torso or is there another way.

The only way is to crack the torso.

Yeah, boil and pop. The plastic used for the lower legs and feet can take a lot of heat. I just stand the figure in the pot for a bit (30 seconds or so) and yank. The feet should pop right out.
