Dremel probelm: if the helmet fits

hello, i am trying to dremel out a ferret(d.e.m.o.n. driver) helmet to fit on a kamakura head. its been rather unsucessful.

any tips on how or if this is possible. i picked kamakura because he had a small head. could it be that even his head cannot fit into the helmet

Can you easily fit the Kamakura head in the shadow of the Ferret head? There are like 3 Kamakura heads and they're all different...which one are you using?

what do you mean the shadow of the ferret head. i am actually using tiger claw.

Or if you're into casting enlarge the helmet to fit the head. I've done this with Fett's helmet to fit on BBI heads. And also I did the same for the New Sculpt Viper helmet (used recently by Mysterious Stranger for a custom).

Hold the ferret head up by the neck...hold the Tiger Claw head in front of it aligned in the same way, "In it's shadow".

I like to use this bit to remove larger portions and generaly get started.

I like a choice of these for doing small and fine work.

I've looked but not been able to find 911 or 921in any of my local stores...I'd think they'd be nice for getting a good smoothe finish on the inside of a helmet.

I've made a few heads with helmets from other heads.

I made a ARAH Cannonball using the head of Bazooka V2 (with it fishing hat cut off) placed inside of a Lift Ticket head (with the face and most of the inside removed). My original goal was to make a removable helmet, but it became obvious that that would be hard to pull off.

The easier route was to start cutting bits and pieces of the Bazooka head until it and the helmet would mate. At that point, I bonded them together with plumber's epoxy and called it a day. If you can live with a unremovable helmet, it's easier.

When you get the correct head figured out, I have had luck using the same bits as Nova mentioned and holding the helmet head in putty as discussed here. There are some tips from others in that topic as well.

well almost, all that is needed is a little bit of detailing inside and going to the top. except, the dremel has to charge overnight.

custom should be up within a few days.
