Any ideas/suggestions for a SWAMP THING?????????

Got a tip to share? Have a question about the hobby? Need input on parts or weapons? Have great idea for a custom figure or vehicle? Too lazy to do it, or just want to share the idea with others? All that and more goes in here.

ML Showdown Beast and a little bit of sculpting and some fake moss:

The head is the tricky part - I ended up sculpting most of it from scratch, but it wasn't that hard.

How did I miss this the first time around?

Because you're a douche.

And because I just whipped this up 5 minutes ago in response to this thread. Remember - I'm known for speed, not quality....:shifty:

:P -- actually, this is a year or so old -- I did it back before 25A came out when I was on my superhero kick. I added the moss a few months back after seeing TR101AL's Swampy (I think it was his...)

I can't believe the blue from the Beast is still showing thru -- I went back and touched everything up months ago. It doesn't show up in person, but the flash really brings it out :verymad:

Oh, well that explains it. I forgot that being a douche also makes me blind.

Assbag. :-P

THanks! It was pretty easy to make, all-in-all. The Beast makes a good base because his fur can look kinda mossy when painted green. The head was some cheap Dollar Store knockoff head (slightly bigger than a Joe) that I carved the face off and sculpted Swampy's face onto. The rest was just deciding where to put the "twigs" and whatnot. But I think you'd have a pretty easy time if you had a good base figure.

Here's TR101AL's version - he used an actual Swamp Thing figure (about the same scale) and really fixed it up well with some paint & moss:

Hope these give you some ideas!

l.designs made this gorgeous Marvel Legends Swamp Thing:

The winning bidder practically stole it.

Been thinking about making a Swamp Thing as well, probably starting with a 25th Serpentor or Roadblock-- modified, of course.
