How do I start...

Got a tip to share? Have a question about the hobby? Need input on parts or weapons? Have great idea for a custom figure or vehicle? Too lazy to do it, or just want to share the idea with others? All that and more goes in here.

I've made only one 25A figure, and that was a head-to-toe repaint.

The urge to customize the 25A figures has finally overcome my unwillingness to learn how to take them apart.

Can someone please get me started?

Do they require a boil & split technique to separate? Do I need to spit the entire torso, or just the upper portion?

Thanks, everyone!

Umm, to crack the chest open.. stick the under up under a against a pard corner wedge of wood, and gently tap the opposite shoulder with a hammer, increasing the blow, slightly more with each hit, until it pops open.. ocne u change it around, you just super glue it back togehther around the edges...

for the lower part of the torso... I havent been able to use this method, i used a scalpel, and slided around the join, until u get enough room to insert something to pry it apart, until it worked free, when i did this though i did cut off one of the pegs holdign it together, but that wont make much difference once u glue it back together...

for the knees u boil them and then pop out the pegs...

the rest u should be able to pull apart your self.

As for gettign started, suggest buy ur self alot of equipment first, and alot of spare parts.

Done the same, except I use the scalpel method for the top of the torso as well. I really don't see a reason to open the lower half of the torso.

but like he said, everything else can be boil n' pop.

Like wise I've used both an exacto knife and a box cutter to split the seam then I used a small tweeker or jewlers screw drive the pop the torso open. You could boil to soften up the plastic but it may warp the other parts the arm, like the bicept elbow joint. Once you get a meathod down pat its easy.

Look forward to seeing the results.
