This is another method I use for cleaning and restoring scratched canopies. I wouldn't recommend doing this on anything other than a part used for a custom. Check it out, and maybe others can benefit from this technique.

How long does it take to cure/dry?

I typically allow 3-4 hours in solid sunlight, which I'm sure is overkill. The problem is, if you touch it too early, your fingerprints will become imprinted and ruin the part. Better to wait and be sure. Once it dries, it's fine to throw around and pick up.

Also, Remster, I'd say practice using that method a few times with meaningless parts just to get used to the process so you don't screw up something important.

Thanks ZG, I'll definitely give it a try - that Rattler canopy came out nice and crisp!
