My sweet sweet girlfriend got to listen to me talk about how I wanted to go out get some green stuff epoxy for customs.

She picked up some Mighty Putty for me.

Ummm... any chance this stuff can work for what we do?

I actually use it on some of my customs. It's just plumber's epoxy in a different color and with a Billy Maze name. If you're okay using plumber's putty, then this stuff works fine.

I use quick steel, quick plastic, and epoxy putties all the time. You have a little shorter working time but they are very hard, sandable, and drillable when set. you may have trouble with prints. Just lick or wet your fingers and use the moisture to smooth it out.

I use this for my customs as well as green stuff. It's a little harder to get detail work with it due to the tackiness it gets and constantly trying to keep your fingers wet/lotioned as well as tools. I usually use it for bulk building up and then go back over with green stuff to do the detail work.

I used similar stuff when I started customizing. So you can do it...just heed what others have already said! :)

I've used it on a few customs. As mentioned above, it's just epoxy. I notice it does have a couple more minutes of working time than the standard gray type though. Just keep a cup of water with you to dip your fingers and tools in when working with it, and when you're done sculpting, use your finger and some water to smooth out any finger prints or other marks.
