Impressive setups. My favorite is the Volcano. But sadly, the burning room suffers from the very thing I talk about on my site. It is near impossible to miniaturize effectively fire and water, and more recently, wood. The rule of SFX I'm afraid.

Those are just incredible. When first looking, I thought that they were photos of actual places, then I read the information and was thrown back that they were handmade. This person has some serious skills. Thanks for finding and sharing these with us.

That was my thought, too. I love miniatures pictures, but I don't usually like them to have fire in them (water can be done, with some effort). I've just never seen one that didn't look like 'big fire on a little set' sort of thing. The rest of his work is quite impressive, though.

I agree to an extent. I think it requires chemicals thought to really get the realistic flair of the fire. I think of JFAK's Venomous Maximus shot. This one, I don't know it just doesn't look right. Not just the size but where the fire is. It looks placed. "A little here, a little there." It doesn't look alive.

I'm really impressed with some of the items he used. Like a glass outdoor table for water or steel wood for clouds or paprika for Mars.
