So I decided that for my latest addition to Operation:Mindcrime, I am going to do something a little different. I am going to open his bio up to the board to write up his bio, and the reason he came to be a part of O:M.

Post your write up here, and I will pick the one I like best and submit it with the custom to the gallery. Also, the one I chose will be rewarded with a prize. And not just some silly lame ass prize either - something cool, and unique, and not at all lame. And a suprise.

The requirements:

Touch on the reasoning for mixing Mindbender with Overlord. Why would you need to bring Overlord into the operation?

How was Overlord's DNA obtained?

What sort of oddity did the melding of these two madmen create?

What's with the 6 pronged probe claws?

Bendoverlord arose uniquely within the Mindcrime ranks. He is the only one of Mindbender's mixed DNA clones that gathered his own genetic material. How this is possible still remains a mystery, but shows one thing. He is not to be the butt of any jokes. At first, he attempted to gather supporters to take over Operation Mindcrime, but with all the members being as egotistical as their creator, he wasn't having much luck. He realized that he needed to attempt his own DNA gathering, but was far behind the curve. Thus, the 6 pronged probe claws were created. Able to sample DNA at an alarming rate, he is able to gather raw material to attempt creation of his own subjects. So far he has had no luck there, either.

"Bendoverlord, is one of my better creations. I implanted memories of him creating himself when he was really sampled from tears found on Overlord's monocle after an all night, "Why can't I be ruler now?" pity party. The implanted memories were key to continuing Bendoverlord's drive to succeed. I placed mental blocks in that keep him from doing anything with the sampled DNA, and thus I keep everything he gets. Now I just need to get past the troublesome motorized dentist chair he keeps wanting to build"

I have decided on the prize for this - the winner is going to have themselves written into the Mindcrime storyline in some form, depending on my inspiration. I will make a Mindcrime based custom of the winning contestant, be it a special lab assistant, or even as an actual Mindbender clone - again, depending on where the inspiration takes me. You will have the choice of either having the custom sent to you, or prominently featured in future Mindcrime dios.

Rising up from the vats of one of Dr. Mindbender's cloning facilities, Bendoverlord is the product of DNA left on a pair of Overlord's dirty underwear fused with that of the bad Doctor himself. The result is a power hungry authoritarian bent. That's it just bent. He is a diabolical individual who expects nothing less than complete obedience from his troops and gets nothing but laughter. At this point in time he is the biggest joke in Operation Mindcrime both for his ineffectual leadership and his amusing codename.

From the files of Dr. Mindbender: "Bendoverlord is my greatest failure. I set out to create the be all end all of field commanders and instead ended up with this bum. He always leads from behind and is constantly spewing crap that no one pays any attention to. Bendoverlord is the butt of many jokes withing Operation Mindcrime. He is asinine and completely full of crap. His one saving grace is his expertise with his custom built wrist mounted probing devices which he is always eager to bring into play at a moments notice. I've never seen anyone that could do that with a probe before! And I have a LOT of experience with probes. . ."

Dr. Mindbender, obsessed with the creation of the perfect clones, found that Overlord was the epitome of leadership and subterfuge that he did not possess. Mindbender formulated that his intellectual brilliance coupled Overlord’s zeal and guile would produce a clone worthy of leadership in the Mindcrime operation. Bendoverlord, a clone of this caliber, would be able to anticipate and offset any threat posed by the original Overlord.

DNA was obtained from a bribed Cobra barber shaving Overlord’s head. The razor slipped, nicking the scalp, and providing Mindbender the sample he needed. After Bendoverlord was created, he set out to armor himself accordingly. Seeing a surplus of monocles and probes, a design was struck. Bendoverlord took three probes and altered them—a laser, a flamethrower, and laser pointer on one hand. Multi-faceted DNA collection tools on the other. Taking these tools, and mental skill, Bendoverlord has assumed his rightful place beside Dr. Mindbender.

Great, this is gonna be harder than I thought.... All three of these are awesome. They all have awesome elements too. Picking the winner is going to be tough.

Well... It may be the easy way out, but I really couldn't decide on one I like more than the others. SO I am going to use them all! Each entrant will have a custom character created based in some way on them, though I cannot guarantee they will all tie in to the Mindcrime universe. Though I know at least one will.

I already know what I am going to do for Kilcarr and VL. Still thinking on JB though.

What I really really want to know is what flesh tone paint you are using?

Hmmm. That was a mixed flesh tone that I made with a bottle of Citadel Elf Flesh that was drying out. I added some white, some Model Masters pale flesh and a little water. It was the best flesh tone I ever had, and I'm sad that it's all used up now.
