What's a good head to use to make a 25th style version of v1 Metal Head? I'm cool with painting/Green Stuffing on a goatee, but need just the right head...
I'd like him to be a bit closer to his appearance in the DiC 'toon, where his hair was longer, so a thiker mane on top would work better than having to try to sculpt a full head of hair on to a figure with a crew cut. I'm going to use a 25th Scarlett ponytail.

Any idears?

Thanks

Best MH custom I ever saw was BadAsh's and he used a BnB Undertaker head. was a dead on likeness.

25th Torch could be an option.

Those BnB figures have heads compatible with 25th necks? Where can the BnB figures be found? Are they a general distribution or exclusive to one store?

Undertaker looks good and the glasses/goggles of Metal Head will cover the angry eyes. Torch might work, but his goatee is a bit thicker than what I'm looking for. I'll keep that in mind though.

Technically this is a self-custom, I just use Metal Head as a refrence becuase I used his noggin' for my O-ring self custom. Here's one picture:

I saw a bunch of them at toys r us today and Yes the heads are compatable with 25th necks, just have to use a drill bit to make the hole a bit bigger for the peg.

That Metal Head/Taker looks pretty sweet.

I'll check out TRU tomorow. Is that hair sculpted to the head, or a seperate piece like Joes with long hair?
