I watched those. A lot of good insight, but having worked on 1:1 scale and 1:18 scale they are very different creatures. On the smaller scale one small mess up and you may have to scrap the entire effort.A furrowed brow can make a small scale character look 90 years old.

But using a wider dremel around the mouth can make him look like a yelling 90 year old.

One thing he does, that the sculptor over at Slayers also does, is make the holes where the irises are on the eyes. That limits the customizer of doing something with the eyes without have to fill it in.
