Does anyone know of any truly large action figures, say in the 18-24" range? I kind of want to build an "Ultimo", and can't think of where to start with a base figure. |

One of the Batman movies (I believe Batman Begins) had a truly gigantic Batman action figure released. Edit: Here it is http://www.legionsofgotham.org/ActionFigures/Movie/Begins/BEGINSjp30inchBatman.jpg 30" tall. But apparently kind of expensive these days. |

There was an 18 inch super posable Spider-Man from one of the movie lines. Not cheap on Ebay though. I think there was also a 30 inch movie Spidey that wasn't very posable. I seem to remember web pix of it all over some guy's apartment: opening the fridge, etc. |

This is definitely at the lower end of the scale range you are looking for but the MU sentinels are appearing in Marshall's for 30 Bucks. He may be only 17 inches tall but maybe with some doing you can add some height. |

Try the big toddler sized girl dolls, I have seen them at Dollar General - you will need to to alot to make it hero-esque but they are huge |

Wow, a 30 inch figure... that would be a real challenge. I wonder how I'd articulate it? I'd probably have to get an MU sentinel and make the knees into Ultimo's elbows. I wonder if even that is big enough? |

I am shocked that no one made a Galactus using that Batman figure. |

There's a giant Superman from that last movie. It was like 24" or maybe even taller. I actually have it. They did a Black Friday sale a few years back and blew them out for $12. My intentions have been to make him into a huge Cobra Commander. As of right now he's still Superman though... He's a rotocast and only has swivel shoulders and a ball joint neck. I don't think there are any other joints but I may be forgetting. He's not really bad as a base figure to work with and may be cheap on Ebay. |

There's already a Galactus from the marvel legends line (I believe). You had to piece him together, but I think most comic shops have him already completed. |

They also made a huge 20" or so Thing figure from the Fantastic4 movie. Found it, 26" |

There is indeed a large Galactus Build-A-Figure, I got one a while back. The MU one is actually an inch or two taller. |
