So, I'm thinking about getting a new sculpting medium for an upcoming project.

I don't want to use greenstuff ...

Can anyone suggest something that would be good to use (and cures at room temp) as well as a good place to get it online?

thanks in advance!

What's the project? Will it need to hold fine details, or is this for a larger piece?

Aves Apoxie Sculpt. Its a 2-part sculpting material that has a workable time of 2-3 hours air cures in about 24 hours. Jin Saotome uses it all the time so I think his work speaks for itself.

As for where to get it, try Aves Studio store. I've purchased from them before and they are really good. If you're just doing little things then the 1/4lb package will last you quite a while.

I'll second the Aves Studio, but I've switched over to using their Fixit Sculpt, as I find it's harder when it cures. It's also used by Sith_fire30, in his amazing work.

Although, the Apoxie Sculpt comes in several colors, so that may be a deciding factor for you, if you really want to minimize the appearance of paint rub.

Fixit Sculpt FTW. You can't go wrong with this.
