Has anyone removed the black paint details off the white and black newer spiderman figure? If so did you use acetone or does goof off work as well? thx |

Not the Spiderman, but the Sue Storm that was in the white and black outfit. Used acetone for most of it, keeping running water nearby to stop it from really hitting the surface and mucking it up on the harder plastic(torso/waist). |

I used GoofOff with the same process. I used a small cotton swab and made sure to only remove the paint in a single direction (otherwise it seems to smear). |

you can also use a pencil eraser. Though it takes longer, doesn't necessarily get everything, makes a mess, and wastes a perfectly good eraser. |

Rubbing alcohol (70% isopropyl) works. It might take longer than the acetone but it won't leave you with that flat roughed up surface on the figure. - JM Sent from my GT-P7300 using Tapatalk HD |
