It's been tried, but to generally disappointing results due to the poor sculpting of the original piece. Frankly, it might be cheaper and certainly less frustrating to commission some custom sculpts. |

I've used it several times- with really good results. If you're talking 1:18th to 1:6th, I don't think it's worth it. |

I've used it with mixed results. I was trying to get some 1/32 parts up to 1:18 scale. I found that cost wise it's cheaper to use 3d Modeling and Shapeways. |
