Adam Savage is a Mythbuster - but he's also one of the greatest customizers, and miniature set builders alive today. This article covers what's in his toolbox. I found it really enlightening. http://www.wired.com/design/2012/08/adam-savages-tools/ - R |

Holy Moley! Just how big is his toolbox? He's got more stuff in there than I have in my whole garage! |

I would also be curious to hear where/when he uses his tool box vs what he has in his Workshop/Studio I suspect that fill a pretty good sized mechanics rolling tool box. |

I have about 75-80% of these items but in a my traveling customizing tool kit, a big plastic tote, my regular tool box, my customizing desk, shed, kitchen, hall closet and some of the more household items around the house. Unless he's got some kind of rolling tool chest or a service truck/van with all of this stuff, he isn't carrying that job to job. |

Mostly scratchbuilt models, like the stuff he's done for Lucas films. and 1:1 models of weapons and "objects of desire. He was also one of the builders of Zoob toys. - R |

awesome find, thanks for posting. I just added to my shopping list. Not even knowing how I'd use a third of that stuff leaves me feeling very inadequate. lol Have there ever been any Discovery episodes (not Mythbusters) detailing Adam's work in the special effects industry? Any good articles even that you'd recommend? |
