I finally found the SL 11 Stormtrooper (yay!) but his helmet paint is HORRENDOUS. Any idea how to clean it up? What will take off factory paint very very accurately? Any ideas?

I don't want to dip him in anything otherwise I lose the tampo print stripeys on either side of the helmet.

Thanks!

Watered down nail polish remover will help, as will mineral spirits.

You can use Newton and Winston's Brush restorer and cleaner for acrylic and oil paints. Dip in a Q-tip and rub off the paint, or use a small amount on a paper towel. Rinse off the part with water when done to neutralize the remover.

I used a sharp razor blade, but I am filing these away to use in the future...
