Looks near perfect. Can you do a set replacing the silver with black too? |

Thank you. I have a few ideas for some ancillary characters and wondered what a mock up would look like. Thanx! |

Those photoshops are so good you almost don't need to make the figure. |

I also love how they look with the black pads. It's a great look for the figure, which I've always kind of thought of as being pretty silly and impractical. - R |

yeah, impressive image. Never had Photoshop - is it easy to use if you know what's what, or that a whole different skillset of its own? (which I presume). Also, if Flash had been made to look like the one in grey with all black armor, my childhood play time would forever have been altered. (i.e., that would be my fave, not Steeler). |

Thanks guys. Not to toot my own horn (beep beep) but I worked in graphic design/photography studios for a while so I'm pretty familiar with Photoshop. Color swaps can be pretty easy, especially, like on this image, if you want ALL the orange pads to change colors, you can use a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer, go in to the red channel, and play with the hue, saturation, and lightness of just that color. It effected the skin tone a bit, so I just masked out that area. Likewise, the green of the figure was changed by doing the same thing to the green and yellow channels. The "hardest" part was the silver, but I just used the pen tool to manually trace those parts so I had a crisp selection and edited from there. If you're familiar with Photoshop, things like this take only a few minutes. But there are so many different ways to approach any edit/change in PS, that it can be a very frustrating program for new users. Happy to help with any questions though, and glad this came out how you wanted DJ! |

I'm waiting for the program that lets me say "I want that part to be gray" and then does it. Wake me when it's ready. But yeah, no self-horn-tooting required. Your PS skill is obvious. |

This past weekend (through today so far) I have been fighting off a bad case of sinusitis. Started taking Mucinex and it through me through a loop. It also gave me some time to think about some custom ideas while I had my eyes closed. I thought about Breaker in the cartoon having a darker uniform, the two tan figures in 83, nova's doing his in tan, along with the recent Bombadier figure, I just got thinking about different colors using the Flash body. I really like how well the darker gray and darker blue looks against the black armor. As much as I like the colors of the I think there is a use for other color schemes too. |
