I really liked the mascot figures of Red Laser and Blue Laser our team leaders came up with, and had an idea I thought might be fun.

I thought everyone who's interested could pick a shade of blue and make a custom somehow incorporating that color.

Names like: Cobalt, Indigo, Azure, Cyan, Periwinkle, Ultramarine. Or names with "blue" in them, like: Midnight Blue, Baby Blue,True Blue, Steel Blue.

Maybe "Baby Blue" is a young recruit, or the name of another Blue Laser's hotrod.

"Midnight" or "Midnight Blue" could be a night trooper.

"True Blue" could be a patriot or over-zealous Blue Lazer.

Names like Cobalt and Indigo could just be cool codenames, though Ultramarine sounds like it could be an over-the-top badass.

Design a custom around the name, and try to use a similar shade in it's color scheme...

Just a thought I had while working on some figures and thinking about the challenge today. Red Lasers are welcome to borrow the idea too, if it appeals to you!

In seriousness though, I think this could also be the model for the customs that have to be exchanged as POWs as well. In the unlikely event TRL were to lose, someone would be the proud owner of a Bindy/Knighthawk in TRL special forces gear.

I like that idea. I've never been able to come up with a "Joe" version of me... I've got a Star Wars mandalorian version of me, a L4D survivor version, and some RPG avatars... but I've never been able to figure out how I fit into the Joe world... a Blue Lasers alter-ego might be a fun way to go about it.

Okay, as a member I'm all about "Team Red Laser PEW-PEW-PEW!" but a tiny part of me wants to lose just to see the drbindy Red Laser Knighthawk custom.

I think this "Blue Lasers" thing is a great idea. I've been thinking about making a Red Laser self-custom myself and maybe he needs a Blue Laser to beat up on.
