Does anyone know if any of the cast mindbender heads, from avacs or vortious or any other good caster, are scaled to be similar to the arah comic pack head sizes? I am using almost exclusively comic pack joes and that size head in my serpentor's birth dio, and arah mindbender's noggin is way too freaking huge!

The JvC Mindbender isn't terrible. I used one for the Comic Pack GP:

Good call, Chad. There's also a Valor vs Venom (I think) version with glasses instead of the monocle.

Thank you, gentlemen! Great looking out! And I won't have to build a custom neckball (at least not much of one!) with either of those! I have the VvV and it seems a bit small, but IIRC that other one should be about right! i may even have one in my fodder somewhere!

BTW Chad, i have been checking out your site, lately. You and Matt have some really top notch customs! my favorite, of yours, is the worms crew!

Thank you very much, for the offer, but I did have one in my fodder! I have already cut the V-notch out of the back of the neck ball and trimmer for height! Any idea what grain of sandpaper to use, to smooth that softer plastic they used for that head? I want to smooth out his goatee, and remove the chain on the monacle. :)

I have found that the plastic is tough to smooth out. Shaving it with a new exacto works pretty well, then some high grit sandpaper at the end.

Get a buffing pad/block for finger nails, I don't know what they're actually called. They basically have very, very fine sand paper on each side. That and wet sanding (using and little water when you sand) can really smooth out plastic.

I actually went the brand new exacto route, so far... I will give that other suggestion a try. Dan, it sounds like you are describing a nail file, or an emery board nail file. I will try wet sanding with one!
