I've noticed that 80% of the newer Marvel Infinite 3.75 figures have no waist bend or turn. I haven't come across any guides about creating a joint or any movement in this area, so can someone maybe send me in the right direction? I was super disappointed when I picked up the Rogue for this reason. |

Crunch or swivel? Swivel seems doable... adding an actual hinge seems hard. |

I've only seen video tutorials on switching torsos from one line to the next. To actually add the ab crunch articulation will require a decent amount of work but it can be done. You will have to cut the torso where you want it it to be articulated. Then you either need to fabricate the joint (ball joint might be the simplest to add here) or take the guts from a donor figure. Once you have the joint worked out, you'll need to go back and fix the sculpt so it looks nice. That's the basics of adding the joint. If I come across any tutorials, I'll link them here. |

I think most people find a base figure with the articulation they want and similar color if possible, then bash the important bits onto it. |

I don't think I've seen anyone do it who didn't have to cover up the cut line. You'd probably need two of the exact same figure to pull it off without an obvious seam.More often than not, like MJ Tanner mentioned, I've seen people add a waist swivel or Marauder style ball joint at the waist where the belt line creates a natural transition. |

That's why I'd go back and pretty it up with sculpt work . I'm not afraid of a little sculpt work, it's the painting that is a terror. Or you could cast the details onto another torso that has the articulation. But that's a whole different demon. |

You're likely going to have to repaint the joint anyway. You would probably be better of putting the head and part you like on to a Hacks blank and painting it. |

Better yet, since those abs-less MUs also lack wrists, just buy a HACK blank for the same price and use everything in the bag to create the MU character from scratch. You're basically asking how to spend a whole lot of money, time, and effort in half-assing what can be simply bought from the people that were making the MUs with the features you miss. |

I'm asking as modding tip, not because I want a Rogue who can turn. It may seems like a waste of time, but that's my burden. |
