So, to anyone who has used Plasti-Dip on Joes, if I wanted to "lock someone into place" like a statue, would the clear plasti-dip be a good option to do that?

I just finished my Springfield Museum of Antiquities statues for my Serpentor's birth dio. That is why I am checking in to this. I would like to lock them in their "statue pose". If I have to use super glue, I will! lol

You're wanting to take a figure and make it a statue? I think gluing the joints would be the better option... seems like pasti-dip is just going to give you a bendable skin over the figure but wouldn't really hold it in place... though it's an interesting idea, and might be worth experimenting with.

I've made a statue from a figure by gluing some of the joints, then filling them in with a sculpting material.

for the scale and everything, the light gray primer I used looks like a perfect fit, already... but I did see that stone spray product at walmart, and my mind wandered! Honestly though, the primer seems perfect to me, do I will probably just super glue and re-primer if needed.

Yeah, you don't want to dip them. You'll wind up with blobby, Joe-shaped things with distorted looking detail. Even a single thin coat of the stuff is thick, compared to paint. I'd recommend just gluing them if you have to have them fixed in place.
