Need some fodder inspiration.

Looking for monster/creature figures on the scale of the Star Wars Rancor, or close to it.

Some ball joint articulation is best.

Preferably bipedal, but just looking for big, bulky monster parts / figures ideas.

Some I've found that fit the bill:
Cloverfield (and wow this thing is expensive now)

Arkham Asylum Clayface

BIG LotR Treebeard

Thanks 2DARK, that's along the line I'm looking for but I'm looking for hairless sculpts mostly.

Right idea though, and thanks for the offer!

The "Jurassic World" line has "Super Colossal" versions of 3 different bipedal dinosaurs:

T-Red
Velociraptor "Blue"
Indominus Rex (coming Aug/Sept)

I'm feeling very self conscious that my replies here are all going to be "Too hairy! Too small!".

So you want them bigger and shaved?

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the help.

I mean, they need to be pretty big.

Cause I've found some skinnier 12" ones, but they need to be thicker to go up against the beast I'm working on.

Kinda looking for ones with very little hair.

8-O :shifty: 8-O

Honestly I think you need to change your search criteria. Less about large 1:18 beasts and more about other scale beasts that can work here. Try old McFarlane, cruise through Big Bad Toy Store, etc...

I definitely have, but that's a good point. I picked up a 12" alien from Alien Resurrection and Malebolgia from the Spawn movie, and even they are a little smaller than what I'm after.

I'm eyeing a bootleg marvel fing fang foom on eBay but I'm pretty sure it's going to be too small too.

The older McFarlane stuff hasnt held up well, it seems like all of it has gone super brittle and breaks very easily. They're just too fragile , sadly. I appreciate you checking your stash though!

i agree, the kiss figures especially. i bought a bunch of them broken that just kept shedding parts. seems there intended use is stay in box, but slowly fall apart!
