Right now my best idea is a sideways berret with a button added to the top. Anyone think of any accessories that might work for this style of hat?

Do you have a Recoil head?

I had a beater one and sanded down the cap.

BrickWarriors hat is what I've used. You have to grind and shape the inside, but I haven't found anything better that requires less work.

A ball cap that fits with sculpt on top might be easiest.

Do you have a picture of the figure you used it on?

I checked out the Brickwarriors site.

How well does that stuff work with ARAH or ME style figures? They have some Ushankas and a few other things I might look into getting.

I use their various swords and knives with my figures a lot. They work great. I've also used them with my Bossfight Orks.

Man, I haven't made any progress on this one for over a year. It was supposed to be a gift and then Covid hit so I've had it bagged up ever since because the pennyfarthing doens't function like I want it to. Yeah, I said it.

Yeah their swords look more like really big daggers/short swords. Pistols and small automatics work too, rifles not so much. But perhaps a visual tasting followed by dessert?

The hats tend to be hit or miss even after dremeling the peg connector out. It is hard to gauge if it will be long or wide enough to accommodate a specific head until you actually try it.

My snake eyes contest figure uses a bw hat that I hogged out until paper thin. That particular hat fit on a mask that covers a Lego head.

Gigabread Digital Bakery made one for his customs.

The store says it’s closed until further notice though. You’d have to contact him to find out if he ever added to his store or if it was still available.
