I’ve been getting randomly redirected to other sites when navigating to either the main site or the forums. I have been using the https address and get redirected even though the secure address is supposed to prevent that fro happening. The odd thing is it isn’t happening every time. The Google search result link is doing this too.

I have the new posts as the bookmark and in the last few days that page briefly starts to load and then the page goes white

Then this little blue looking robot wants me to ID something. I hit back and it's fine.

I also have had to sign in several times recently, now that I think about it.

I was on this page and refreshed and got the robot redirect page. Closed the tab and managed to get back here unmolested.

I’m on an ipad using the latest IOS and browsing on Safari with Adblocker running but not enabled on Joecustoms (cuz I’m supporting the site).

Pesky little bugger. Keep rooting it out, but it keeps getting back in.

I’m still getting it. I refresh the page after being on the https link and I get it. Joecustoms is my internet home and until this started happening was on my daily website check-ins. But with the continued hassles this bug is causing I’m rarely coming here and that makes me really sad.

It is time to wind down the forums. It has been long overdue.

Joecustoms.com is not working for me, the forums run fine though.

Pluv, I hope you mean to update the forums, not taking them down.

I have no issues on my tablet (knock on wood), but I agree with Mystere in that I hope you don't mean on closing the forum.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. I had planned to put the forum in read-only mode a couple of years ago and then Covid hit. It won't be soon, and it won't be a surprise. There will be a more official announcement, but expect it to happen before the end of the year.

Very sad to hear that. It seems that lately all the good forums are coming to an end :( . Damn facebook and social media!

At least for GI Joe there is the Hisstank, but all the same this forum had very good info only posted here.

Will you close it down for economic matters, or lack of participation?

This is simultaneously heartbreaking, aggravating... and totally understandable.

Appreciate all the work that's kept it chugging along for as long as it has.
