This figure is a fun way to expand a collection and isn't very expensive or hard to find. The quality is pretty good, though the plastic is brittle and the accessories are an interesting mash up of classic Joe weapons.

The Viper sculpt, upon whom this Anvil figure is based, is one of my faves. And, these colors work. But, I do admit I'm biased just due to my enjoyment of the 1994 Viper.

For some reason, this version of Starduster is very appealing to me. But, he works with classic Tiger Force figures or as a stand alone version of the rare character.

This week's new profile is of the Black Major "Purple Haze" Cobra Invasor figure:

I love this figure's design and visual appeal. The V2 Snake Eyes mold as a Cobra isn't for everyone. But, it really works in this color scheme.

The figure has a solid mold and colors I would normally enjoy. But, he never caught on with me and deserved another look.

While the colors may be considered bright, they work for a diver. And, this figure marks line of success that brought Joe back to retail in 2000.
