First up is Spirit, fresh off the paint desk. I was real pleased with the results of this one. Better than expected actually. After I got the Quinlan Vos comic pack on clearance this one got pieced together fast.


Here is a Jinx that is a simple repaint of Scarlett. I really liked this mold but not as Scarlett. As the Joes ninjette in red though its perfect. I originally made a figure identical to this when the Scarlett was first released but with a mask. But I wanted an unmasked one so here it is.


Big Boa is next up. The boxing look was hard to replicate in new sculpt so I rewrote his bio to add in some time with MMA. And it works out better with MMA slowly edging out boxing as the more popular of the two sports.


Here is my reimagined Coil Crusher. I hated the bendy arms of the original, more than action attack. So I came up with this figure and even figured out how to explain his old bendy arms in his bio. He is still not 100% complete but close enough. I need to do some touchups and I want to make a small backpack to plug into his exo-skeleton.



And I finally got my hands on some extra MLS figures so to the dye pot they went and came out Mindbender's abominations. First is Monstro, my update to the Monstro-Viper. Simply dyed Beast black.


Next is Warwolf. Replaced the Beast head with Chewbacca and dyed it black. A little drybrushing and I was done.



And the final abomination for now is Iguanus. Venom body with Beast feet and a modified Hulk head. Dyed black and then drybrushed with bronze metallic and metallic perodot(green).

Man, that is awesome, and personally, I think the idea of dying Beast black and calling him Monstro Viper is such an obviously awesome idea, I am suprised that it hasn't been done before (at least not to my knowledge).

The stand out for me was Big Boa! Your Jinx too, but a little too simple. I like the tooth pics on Boa . Yhea, the boxing aspect is hard to detail. I cheated too and made him a muay thai fighter. LOL
Any plans for a helmet?

I really like your rendition of Coil Crusher! Looks like that took some time! It's always nice to see modifications in that degree.

Spirit came out looking nice too! Just not my thang

Wow, all great. Quinlan Vos works well as Spirit. I'll agree with Jay, though, on Jinx, she would look better with her actual figure's head. Big Boa and Coil Crusher look mean and nasty. And that is some sweet work on Mindbender's abominations.

Spirit is perfect. That head works so well as Spirit I'm slapping myself in the forehead for not seeing it.

Big Boa looks real good too. You might want to do another coat of blue on his legs though. Great parts choices made here.

Coil Crusher, good so far. You mihgt want to consider using a pen instead of a brush for his tatoo. It looks too messy with a brush. Usually pens don't work so well because the rub off but since it is a tatoo you can brush on some sealer and it will look natural.

You have me slapping myself again with your Beast as Monstro Viper. I think I would have kept the reddish shorts from the original. Maybe painted his eyes yellow but more lke a cat. I think those two things will make him loook a lot less like beast. You can leave off the golden mitten though.

Warwolf does look like Harry, or Chewie's JCW brawler cousin. It is hard to make that head anything else but Chewbacca for me.

Iguanas I like. Maybe not as the character but he is still hella cool. I can't even tell you why but I know he is bad ass and eats babies.

Great use of that head for Spirt,works really well. Iguanus is creepy and the to dyed beasts are cool. Big boa mix of parts is cool as well as coil crusher.

Damn, these are all awesome! Spirit is my fave here, with the abominations being a close second. Those are great ideas.
