Gordon's head would be a perfect replacement for Wild Bill.

Saw these today.

Ummm. . . no thanks. WAY to short, funky proportions, no articulation.

I'm trying to think of something nice to say but I can't think of anything.

They're cheap enough I guess. Just not cheap enough for me to bite on something so crappy.

Seriously. Especially the 25A. WWE, POTC, & DC are just about the same height when placed beside classic sculpt Joes or VvV Joes. It's just the 25As that're too tall.

At 1/18 scale, four inches workes out to six feet, even. A good base height for heroic characters. 3 3/4" ends up being 5' 7 1/2". Superheroes that are about my height seem, somehow, not so super.

So, how tall would that make the 25A's?

On another board, someone mentioned that the Gordon would make a good starting point for a Blade Runer fig, just slap a Han Solo head on it(if the scales are close enough in size).

I saw the Flash and GCPD packs yesterday, and well, they're a big pass. I was hoping that the SWAT figures would be salvageable, but they're the worse of the bunch. Not only are they tiny, as is the rest of the line, but they had paint apps worse than that of knock off dollar store figures.

Yeah, I grabbed 1 figure and they're just not worth the time. I got the stupid Guy Gardner figure. I liked that character better when he was going under the other name and was able to reshape his arms into weapons. I forget what he was called. But anyway, I grabbed him just to see how the figures were in hand. I'm far from impressed. I know I don't want to collect them now. They'd have to be $2.99 for me to buy them with all the work that's required to make them good figures. I'd want to somewhat hide those huge joints, give them new hands, try and make them taller, plus redo other minor things. By that point I may as well of just built my own or did a custom from a 25th style G.I.Joe.

Well they are finally adding more articulation next year. They must have been embarrased by Hasbro's Marvel line.

I read this quote from the interview

Quote:
So if fans kind of stick with it in 2008, in '09 you are going to see a huge increase in articulation, we are looking at doing vehicles, play sets, the whole thing.

Which means we wont get them because I'm pretty sure I'm the only guy buying these. :-|
