well I needed a Firestar for my new warriors team and I didn't have much to work with for parts so this is what I pieced together. Her costume isn't comic accurate but a sort of look for her. Here is a teamshot as well with whom I have done so far.

Very nice. Gives her a very plain-clothed "I'm a super-hero, and I'm not ashamed of it feel." Nice job.

Yah, she looks like she's still WIP, and you've yet to start painting, man.

I would recommend this costume over her original, tho:

Yeah, that yellow costume would look great. But at the end of the day she's your custom. ;-)

Nice work, but to me, Firestar will alway have to have her costume from the old cartoon. But either way, you did a great job

I have to agree with the others, ya got to paint her yellow, the gloves are that color already, great choice for a custom Tim.

I know what ya all mean by yellow. I have never seen the costume Adrian posted BTW.
But in the original NW series the last 20 or so issues her costume was black legs, grey upper body and red boots and she hade lightning on her upper chest and wore a jacket.
I wanted to do the cartoon costume but didn't have good parts to work with..
so I understand what ya all say :-)

Hmm, I did a GIS for 'Firestar' (Sadly, you'll prolly want to make sure your SafeSearch is On) and only her original and that uniform came up. I've never seen the one you've done here, Tans.

This guy does drawings of various superpeeps, and he doesn't have that listed either. He even has the one she wore in the Hellions:

This is the one he lists her wearing with the Warriors:

I hate to jump on the band wagon, but even though it's a cool custom it dosen't even wisper Firestar.
There is a web site that features the guy AV mentioned it's called superbuddies and there is a ton of good artists and Ideas there.
