I got my box in today. The figures are all very nice. Riders 2 and V3 are both much better done than Rider 1. The Kiva figures are all pretty decent, though some may require some parts being glued on, particularly the forearm pads on Kiva Dogga form. I really like the IXA figures, though I still think its dumb the way they did him as two figures instead of just one with an extra head. Interestingly, they seem to have left out his whistles that are on his belt. Much like Kiva, he should have those little boxes on the sides of his belt, he's even got pegs for 'em, but neither figure had them. i suppose one could always attach Kiva's there.

Thanks for the update.
Its nice to know that 2 and V3 are better than 1 (even though he's a cool figure).

Who's you get as a double?

Is the monster hunter series worth 64 bucks plus 15 dollars shipping? I think the figures are great looking, but I dunno if I want to spend that much

I've seen them on Evilbay for $89.99 and up plus shipping, i think that's a fair price, plus you could sell me your doubles. ;-) :shifty:

yeah, the Monster Hunters were 3 different molds with different paint jobs and weapons.

Far as my MRS set, I have no clue who my double was as he was in fact the last box remaining after I opened them all up and rather than take a peek, I just left it be and gave it to my brother when he came over(he's gotten all of my doubles). As I said, the secret this time around is lame. Its the Dark Den-O from the Den-O/Kiva team up movie. He's the villain from it. If they were going to spend their time with a straight repaint for the secret, I'd have preferred a Shocker Rider over this guy. He does at least bolster the MRS villain ranks a bit though(a whopping 3 bad guys). I really hope Bandai isn't doing their usual "lets abandon a line after only a few releases" crap that they always pull. I want at least one more wave of MRS. We still need Kiva's Emperor form, the two new guys from the movie, the other new Rider(Saga), and Rising IXA. That's almost a full assortment right there.,

I can't understand why this would be the last of the MRS. The toys always sell out, never even get put on clearance. IT's a winner! I guess it's too much bang for the buck? I mean, in the USA, GI Joes are $7.99, and these are less than $5. I was hoping they would extend the MRS to non-KR lines, like the OLDER Sentai! I'd love to finally be able to get Jetman figures!!! omg, Jetman MRS would so rule! or even Go-Onger MRS. And the lead baddie(s) from each Sentai line.

FTFY. Each of the figs has its own set of weaponry that is specific to that one fig, not shared by anyone else. Some of the weapons are similar in idea (i.e., daggers made from dragon's horns), but they're all individually-molded and painted.

Overall, the MH figs are a step above MRS figs because of the weapons. The fact there's only 3 diff molds of the figs themselves is the only ding on them.

And I would say the MH figs themselves are evidence that Bandai *is* expanding beyond the MRS characters. I wanna see them do Guyver figs next. I'm not aware that property's ever had good 18th figs, and brother, it needs some.

I haven't been following this thread as closely as I should, perhaps, but has it been stated that this IS the last of the Motion Revive figures? That would be unfortunate. I just discover their existence, hope to get some of them, and it's the end of them... :-(

Double post, sorry, but I got this "General Error" notice the first time, so I assumed it hadn't gone through.

Yeah, I'm gettin' really sick of that Error "LASER BLAST".

And no, there's no official word of this being the last set; but there's also no heads-up about anything coming after it when we've known about subsequent sets before the 'current' one actually hits.

It could very well be that these have had such a good reception that Bandai is thinking of doing a full-on actual toyline of MRS figs. Maybe. I agree that the apparent ending can't be due to lack of sales.

Like I said, they've got a precedent of ending lines for no damn good reason after only just a couple of releases. Case in point, Super Robot in Action, an offshoot of the MSIA line. It got about four or five releases and then BAM! Canned. Same with Labor in Action, Walker Machine in Action and Aura Battler in Action. There have been others as well, like Beta Midget which was pretty much Bandai's own Microman line, but done in capsules and with attachable armor(VERY cool line) only got about four assortments released and was canned. They do it with their model lines as well. Eureka Severn and Code Geass have both suffered because of this bad habit. Like I said, I really hope they aren't doing this. My hope is that they're just waiting until the Kamen Rider/Sentai summer movies come and go and will have a new wave for Fall.
