Wow P-luv, it's been a long time since I seen a custom from you.

Bravestar- A childhood favorite of mine as well. I was acutally suprised at how well the likeness was. Great job on this one.

The Colonel- I smell chicken, I don't think I have actually stopped giggling since I seen it. That is a might fine suit the Colonel is wearing as well.

Bomb Disposal is pretty snazzy.

Lex Luthor- GREAT, loved Lex in power armor, love this custom of him and like the fact you matched up the green of the armor. Smooth painting on him as well as a great use of parts....is that big ben's noggin?

I don't understand double brawler....I guess I missed something in my hiatus but he looks well put together and interesting.

I'm glad everyone is liking these. Especially Bravestarr. I really put a lot of time into him. One of the biggest problems I had with him was trying to decide whether to go with his look from teh cartoon or the look form his toy. In most cases I went with the toy.

The only thing I'd change is maybe get his skintone a little darker and more Native American.
It is a couple of shades darker then my white figures, but it isn't as dark as Spirit. This was one of the first toon vs figure debates I had, his chest armor being the second. I ended up going with a skin color that was somewhere in between those two looks for him.

I never thought about doing Tex Hex. I was more concerned about 30-30, which I'm still tracking down parts for. I'll have to see what I cna come up with for him now though.

The Colonel- I don't now why you would make one but it's cool.
I go with what interests me and food interests me. :D This was actually made for JCW as he is one of the background characters. The Colonel started off as a joke character that took on a life of his own. He's a huge fan of JCW and dispenses his knowledge and recipes in a Foghorn Leghorn style. After the Bruger King this didn't seem like a bad idea. I'm hoping to one day have a Fast Food Icon Royal Rumble. Next up for me, Jack in the Box.

The jacket is pretty bulky, but it's a great figure regardless.
You'll have to trust me when I say it looks better then the version I tried to make. I know the shoulders are a bit big and the collar doesn't quite work but I think it pulls off the effect without sacraficing too much movement.

Ok... the bomb robot. What did you make that bad boy out of ?

Main body and wheels: Hot Wheels Monster Jams Speed Demons (retained its pull back and go feature)
Tracks: Matchbox tank
Claw arm: G2 Optimus Prime trailer and Matchbox crane
Audio/visual sensors: Sneak Peak monocular, bbi night vision goggles, styrene tubing
Rear battery: Scoop backpack and wires

what is that background that Scarlet is bound and gaged infront of?
21st Century WWII bank/HQ. This is one of my favorite pieces. It is only a portion of a bombed out building witht he front looking like some kind of bnak and the backside looking like it is some kind of headquarters. You can see some of the back side here. A very versatile peice that went on cleanrance at TRU a couple of years ago for like $5.

No, sheesh, I'm not that good. Lex Luther uses comic pack Dragonsky's head. Usually those messed up painted eyes don't look right but for Luther they scream contempt which was perfect for how I envision him.

No you didn't miss anything. He made an appearance earlier this week in The Workbench dio-comic for the Custom Celebration. Some people wanted to see him close up.

I had the unpainted figure on my workbench for a while but I wasn't sure what to do with him. Use it for Outback or make a Big Brawler? Then it hit me that I could do both. Plus it would serve another prupose. Whenever I show people my customs they always ask, "How do you do make these?" Way back in the day, I did a step by step of a custom and made a flash display on my website. That website is long gone so I wanted something I could show people and they'll instantly get a better idea of how a custom goes from a WIP to a finished product.

I'm by far an ARAH fan, but that Bravestarr is inspiring. Great stuff.
