So, awhile back, I made my Reign of the Serpent Cover Girl custom. It turned out alright, but I was never happy with it. It had started out as an experiment to see if I could fuse part of a SW torso with a 25th Joe, and while that worked great, it just didn't fit with the character. Felt too skanky. I recently tore that custom apart to make my second Mikaela Banes custom (...it's a custom based on a character portrayed by Megan Fox, so I don't think there's such a thing as 'too skanky'), so I needed a new Cover Girl.

I put together this one based largely on the DD look. I went with blonde hair, though, maybe just because I've been watching the DVDs that came with the DVD sets. I'm a lot happier with this version. See link above for backstory.

Everything else: 25th Lady Jaye (modified)

When I first looked at this I thought you had slapped a head on a comic pack Cover Girl chest and gave her some new legs.

I'm very happy to be wrong about that. You did some fantastic work here. Especially around the eyes.

Also, HHH has girl hair.

Looks good, Darko. I never really thought your previous version looked skanky, but as with beauty, that may be in the eye of the beholder :shifty: I did think the first attempt made perfect sense to me, based on the awesome backstory you made for her.

Having said that, the current version here you know is clearly Cover Girl, without having to read the story to figure it out. So you've made a much more spot on version of the character.

I think your mods turned out very well, and I love seeing that LJ head put to good use, since it's original production sculpt was horrid. If you made me do a critique, I think the only thing I'd change is the color of her hair. I'd go with light brown, and I also would avoid the heavy detailing that is with it right now (did you do that, or did it come with HHH's pretty locks?). For some reason, it makes the hair look very gritty. I just think a former model would have a "cleaner" shinier looking head of hair. Nitpicky? You betcha.

Which means, it doesn't subtract much if at all from the great job you did here. I also like the mod to the shirt. good work all over.

The detailing on the hair is actually from the original HHH figure, and it doesn't look as bad in person as it does in the pictures. My camera has a way of bringing out random details. I am thinking of painting the hair, though. I started out really liking the blonde look, but I'm starting to think I should have gone with auburn.

This is a great covergirl, Far better then the comic pack version.. Triple H has some sexy hair.... :shifty:

Love the mods you did to the body that gave it a comic pack style look. If I get around to doing a Cover Girl Custom I want this formula..

WOW! That LJ head looks great with the BnB edge hair. Did you do any mods to the head other than repainting it?

I had to add a bit of forehead with miliput, and of course chop off the existing hat and hair, but other than that, no. I was surprised it worked, since I've always thought the 25th LJ head looked horrible.
