Decided to try and swap a few parts and pieces together waiting for paint to dry. Made that fedora dude pure LBC, with an extra Ash head, the coat was actually the coat from the 5" ToyBiz Samwise Gamgee, and the pouch and old wineskin was from the same. The gem was a glass gem that popped out of a kid's toy ring.

Awesome, no crits here. Kambei is gonna love this one.

Excellent work. ;-)

You called that one right. Kambei does love it. I think that I am going to have to do something similar, but maybe age him a bit, so that he can encounter Indy in the 1930's.

That is a great custom. I don't consider anything that makes someone use their imagination like you have an LBC. Great use of parts.

Consider the idea borrowed :-D

I like this one quite a bit. Great head choice. Did you cut off Sam's hood or just leave it?

Thanks guys.

The jacket he is wearing pluv is the tweed jacket he wears under the Elven cloak, so all I had to do was just take it off Sam. Originally, I was saving this jacket piece to make a Chow-Yun Fat "Replacer Killers" version, since suit jackets are hard to come by in the figure realm. But the available Chow-Yun Fat head is rather unusable.

There is such a wealth of usable clothing in the odd sized figures, if you take the time to turn them around and around looking at it with 3 3/4 in mind. When I did Leon in his Shearling jacket, the vest piece was Frodo's vest, cut down. The real obstacle is trying to find arms that can blend well with these odd clothing pieces.

On the same note, I just put the "Bond" head from the Golden Compass figure on the body of the robed Indy, minus the robe and head, and the look is very similar to how Bond was in the first few minutes of Casino Royale.

Now the real trick is to take the same body, the overcoat piece from the 25th Dreadnok, and then find a way to place the RAH Duke head from the last comic pack, so you can make a proper John Constantine.

Not that Keanu abomination.

Forgive me for inhabiting a region located directly underneath a large sedentary mass....

But who's "That Fedora Dude"?

At the beginning of The Last Crusade during the young Indy sequence, that fedora dude is the guy in charge of the group Indy steals the cross from.

How did I miss this? This is awesome! I always regretted not getting in on some of those Evil Dead figures back when they were out. I think that head really works well.

Wow...that's one nice-looking custom! LBC or no, he's a great rendition of the character. The head is perfect: the only thing that's been holding me back from doing a custom of that character has been the head; problem solved.

Good call on those LOTR jackets, too: the hobbit-sized coats fit Joes pretty well.

Fine work, sir.

Great likeness, and perfect parts choice!
The fact that it's all LBC is even better, no better way to get custom figures that are 100% playable!
