Wow... I'm usually not impressed by OG customs these days, seems like everything that could be done with them had been... but clearly I was wrong.

I can't help thinking these guys would look so awesome in an Oktober Guard styled "5-pack", like the first Joe and Cobra set for the 25th line. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Your paint application is FLAWLESS. Do you any posts regarding your supplies/methods on the board or in the wiki?

I'm agonizing over getting smooth paint applications and these are exactly what I'm trying to do!

I would buy these in a six pack hands down!

Can't wait too see how you handle the rest! (if your feeling really spunky you can try for Ruslan from wwIII)

I just had the biggest nerdgasm when I opened this thread.

I have an extra Red Star and Bazooka to make Brekhov and Horrorshow, but after seeing these customs I might just give up that idea.

These are excellent! I would definitely pick this up at retail if they were available.

MBB- Who is Ruslan? Is he from the DD comic?

DotD/ King15- I'm planning some tutorials once I get some time, might have to be after Christmas, work is getting nuts.

Same here. Each one could be a favorite in its own right.

Beta, yes he is a rookie OG member that Diana and Falcon hook up with to create the Russian Resistance. I don't have a scanner but he was in one of the issues of wwIII I will look it up and get back to you.

I am going to agree with all of the kudos that have been posted here... That is a fantastic looking team you have made, and if Hasbro folks are lurking here, they should definately take note...

I vote giving Schrage the ciggy.
I also say go for it on Wong..he is the much talked about much maligned but I have never seen anyone do a custom of him. (I like many others have plans for him but it's nowhere in the ondeck area)
How did you to the whisp of smoke on Brekov's cigar?
Also what brand of paints did you use ? Any clearcoating ?
Thanks.

PoetFlint- The smoke is a bit of Q-Tip stretched out for the right appearance. I use Testor Model Master Acryl paint, but I don't seal it, I have a problem with the sealants gunking up joints. The Model Masters is pretty good about not rubbing off.

Flipping sweet. Stomravick is by far my favorite because you really nailed the possible translation of parts into 25th form for him. Tha tis somethign that could easily be copied.

The craftsmanship on the sculpting on Horrorshow is truly amazing. I do have a question, though. Does his arm still have the full range of motion. It looks liek the bulk would hinder it.

All around that is a great looking group.

Pluv- Horrorshow has ALMOST full articulation, his elbows are hampered slightly, but he can hold his RPG correctly, which was my goal and made me happy I didn't have to redo the arms.

 I am so completely overwhelmed by these figures that I'm pissed off.

1st-- I hate 25ths for many reasons and you make me want to buy them. :verymad:
2nd-- I am so jealous of the skill that went in to these. :-/
3rd-- Is that each one is just as good as the others. Except for Horror Show who is so perfect it's...... it's........well he's just perfect.

Very fine work Sir
