Beta, yes he is a rookie OG member that Diana and Falcon hook up with to create the Russian Resistance. I don't have a scanner but he was in one of the issues of wwIII I will look it up and get back to you.

I spent last night looking up Ruslan on various search engines.

Nothing.

The only thing I found was a link to a post I did back in April on here asking for Ruslan pictures.

Seriously I think we need a section of the wiki or some links to pics of characters that were never made into figures: cartoon, comic books, video, movie, etc. Kind of like a YoJoe, but for character pics.

Thanks for looking, I may have to bite the bullet and see if my comic chop has any DD Joe comics left.

You can see Ruslan in action on Page 7 of issue 5 of WWIII or as part of the team shot on page 3 of issue 4 and again on pg 11 of issue 6

Discription: Grey urban cammo uniform with basic web gear over a parka, black ski cap

For an LBC I used the 97 Lt Gorky (Grey Big Bear) and the Winter ops Big Ben head (DTC Lowlight would be more accurate if he had black hair)

I've already poked around doing research to give him a name and history. He is the current rookie of the team. ( My guard is slightly bigger) but a fun character none the less!

Ruslan is the dude in the left corner?

And who wrote WWIII? Isn't Daina a Czech?

Beautiful job as always. Horrorshow really well... steals the show. My only small quibble, Diana chest hanging out, I didn't like that on the Lady Jaye either, Telnyashka, the striped shirt Russian soldiers wear would be a nice addition there, at least in my opinion anyhow.

L1zking- I may redo Daina once that new LJ hits the shelves. I was thinking about modding the LJ torso with a shirt, but in both issues I was using as a reference, Daina had low opened shirts, so I let it go, I was in apoxie coma from Horrorshow

I do plan the much more scantily clad "tropical" Daina from her later appearance with the second Oktober Guard unit.

And Ruslan is added to the "to do" list.

After Wong. Who doesn't love a Chinese cowboy?

In terms of criticism the only thing I would say is Shrage's figure looks a bit too slenderish. I don't know if it seems more like he is a tiny bit anorexic, or that the suit is too tight, but something is just a tad bit "off," with that one.

Otherwise hall of fame efforts, and besides giving Dragonsky a flippin-sweet helmet and Daina a nice furry hat I would say

"roger and ebert give it four thumbs up"

I think it's the height on Shrage, he is a lil taller than the other.

Daina will get her tanker helmet, the first one I sculpted shattered, so once I make a new one, I'll get pics up.

Outstanding, simply outstanding.

I agree that HorrorShow is the best sculpted fig Ive ever seen, but for me its Col. Brekhovs cigar (and smoke) that steals the show.

Especially with the photos where ir creates a shadow.

All I can add is that Im another who feels you be employed by Hasbro.
