All I can say is that I am pretty happy with how he turned out.

I like it. The blue is a little bright, but not too bad. It definately says "Wetsuit" to me...

Beautiful. The blue really works. My only suggestion is to swap out the head.

For some reason I believe that he has brown hair - maybe from the JVC one?

The flying fish logo is some really good stuff though. That can't have been easy.

His lower arms seem a bit off. First it looks like the left lower arms is actually a right arm but that could be the angle. Second that arm/hand combo gives him monkey arms (a condition I have personal experience with) I think a straight hand with no wrist would work a lot better and help the monkey arm look. If you want a watch on that left arm you could swap it out with a TF Flint forearm which has the watch sculpted on and still gives you the muscled look.

And I agree a darker brown for the hair would look more like him. But the head works as far as facial features and such. Just needs a dye job.

Other than that this is a great version of Wet-suit.

I'm curious how you attached the vintage backpack.

I like the color choices here. I actually like the head you used. It seems like i would belong to a SEAL. You do need to tighten up your edges with paint. I find it is easier to do one smooth stroke at the edge and then fill in the pattern.

Thanks for all the comments and compliments everyone.

Pluv, all my brushes are shot and I plan to make a stop into Michaels tomorrow to remedy that before I finish up my next batch of customs. ;)

TC, excellent figure. I've been dying to do one of these myself, but I'm really hoping Hasbro will bring him to life, so to speak. Excellent parts choices (still guessing on a few). What blue did you use, because it looks just about a match for the original. You've definitely grown as a customizer over the past year.

The helmet is beautiful. Great way to get the visor in there.
