Wow. I've been revisiting this thread several times today, hoping that you'd post a new with-head shot. That's just amazing. How are you planning on displaying this?

Thanks for all the feedback and kind words. I really do appreciate it. I'm glad this one is coming to an end- in that I'm glad I actually finished it.

"How are you planning on displaying this?"

Right now he's in my garage. That seems about the best place for him. No plans to move him elsewhere at the moment.

 It's beautiful man. Simply a true work of art that I am sure will be applauded by anyone that is a customiser of any type.

I know it's just more work for you, but a simple painted plywood city scape for him to pose in front of would be the only thing that could make this better. Even if you just cut a skyline and painted it all black, set it up behind him outdoors in front of a sunset or something, then photographed him in front of it from a worm's eye view, I think it would look EPIC.

It turned out great. This thing NEEDS to be shown off.

This is what I dreamed of as a kid. Too bad I only had the real Devastator. I applaud you. I hope you're king of the internet for a day.

It's fantastic to see it all finally come together, man.

Knowing you like I do, though. What could you possibly have planned next? :-D

Here are the final pics! Altogether the project took just under five months to complete. I wish I had kept track of the money and time I spent on him. Devastator stands at 5'6" to the top of the crane (5'4" to the top of the head) and he weighs in at 59 pounds.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this custom come to life!
