Subtle, very subtle, lol.

I think these guys need to be rereleased when they fix the articulation.

My son and I went to Target this morning to go toy hunting, and while I was preoccupied with the Joes, he evidently threw the Flash 3-pack in the cart. I didn't notice until we got to the register to pay, and I was like "what the heck" and bought them. I opened them for him at the Target cafeteria area and we played around with them on the table for little bit. I've got to say that this pack may have swayed me on these. I was basing my previous opinion on the Gordon pack and the terrible paint apps on the SWAT guys. Sure, they're not super-articulated and they're a bit smaller than what we've been getting the past year and a half, but they've got a cool nostalgic feel to them.

I also have to mention that, for a line that so many people knock (myself included until now) the figures are constantly selling out. I can't wait to see what they do with the increased articulation and vehicles/playsets.

They remind me of better articulated Super Powers figs. That's part of why I dig em.

I have to agree with Mundo, i broke down and got the Gordon 3 pk. Then Adam Strange, then a Hush Figure, sure they suck articulation wise, but the sculpts on them aint that bad, i think i will get more when wave 2 hits my area.

My Target still hasn't gotten anything new. Now the new JLU figures are taking up their peg space.

I picked up the Gordon/Swat pack at Target last night. The paint apps were the best I had seen on this pack. The eyes were actually painted where human eyes actually ARE! It was amazing. The Gordon is a good figure. The SWAT guys... I just don't know what to do with them yet.

I hear the Capt. boomerange/Raven/Starfire(?) three pack is short packed in the next assortment.. That royally peeves me off. I think the female sculpts are great in this line and I don't mind the v-crotch too much.

I actually started army building the SWAT guys. I've got 8 now. Perfect for going against Batman, or going after goons. :-D

I cracked a case of what I think is the latest pack-out of figures. The case included:

Gray/black Batman x2 (I think)
Superman x2 (I think)
Dr. Fate
Black Lightening
Green Arrow
Black suit Joker
and a couple of other characters

I grabbed the Batman, Black Lightening, Joker, and Superman. This is the first time I've seen these in Wal-Mart, so I was about floored when they rang up at just under $7! I went ahead and paid for those four since my Target is either sold out or restocked with the first round of figures and I'd probably pay $7+ shipped online.

So, just a heads-up that these should be showing up at WM's. I'm just glad to finally have my Batman.

They made Orion for Infinite Heroes? Now I have to find Batman, Power Girl and Orion. I just hope these start hitting the shelves around me sometime soon.

Got my hopes up, I already made a custom but want a production version. Well I still have to find a few I know are coming anyway.

Wow I was thinking that WM would do exactly this!
However I am bummed that they are the same price as KMart & Meijer. These are only worth $4.99 Target charges without the articulation which they are getting later.

Saw them in Forbidden Planet, disappointing, they look like ass.

That Black Canary looks very nice though. I'll probably get a Batman and Catwoman from the Microman line, but I'd like a Joker. Poison Ivy etc. in the DCIH.

Would figure as soon as I start replacing with my Super Powers with the infinite heros news likes this comes out.

Quote from Matty Collector Q&A From Actionfigureinsider.com
Quote:
Q1) Of the new pictures of Infinite Heroes shown on the new Matty/Mattel Facebook page it is mentioned that Alex Luthor is the first figure with the new articulation, but there is no obvious new articulation in the photo. Can you tell us what the new articulation will be going forward for this line?

A1)Luthor actually just missed the new articulation cut off, but it will follow very shortly after him. The new articulation will include ball joints at the elbows and knees as well as wrist, neck and ankle articulation

And from TNI's Q&A
Quote:
TNI: With Hasbro's more articulated 3 3/4 Marvel line soon to hit shelves (which have noticeably more articulation than the current design used on the DCIH), is there any thought to adding more articulation to DCIH figures in the near future?

Mattel: As announced at SDCC in 2008 we will indeed be greatly enhancing the articulation of the Infinite Heroes figures in the very near future.

I think I'll hold off until Toyfair before picking up anymore.

You don't have to wait that long. They should be showing them at NYCC this weekend.
