Okay, I picked up some of those Indiana Jones German Soldiers on clearance today with the intention of customizing them. I got to thinking that they didn't really look like German soldiers, so I tossed aside my original idea of making proper Germans out of them. Instead, I thought he had more of a guerilla/mercenary/terrorist look to him. So, I made myself a generic bad guy soldier.

Pretty simple, popped the original legs off, hollowed out his torso and popped it onto an unused Joe lower body and legs. Some minor paint and a quick beard(and a touch-up on his face) and he was pretty much done. Fairly playable still too.

The other figure is a part of a new terrorist army I am building known as Shocker. Shocker was the terrorist organization from the old Kamen Rider shows. These guys were actually touted as being a terrorist army complete with masked cannon fodder troops, named characters, and cyborg/genetically engineered super soldier monsters. These guys were pretty much Cobra before Cobra even existed. As such, that's pretty much how they fit into my 'verse. This guy is just a standard Shocker soldier. He's made from a Python Cobra Officer, 25th Snake Eyes v.3, a Storm Shadow head, Bazooka Trooper gear, a BBI helmet (with Shocker insignia hand painted), and a Marauder G-36.

Shocker is a terrorist organization that was created after WWII from former Axis forces. Over the years, their organization grew larger and more international, terrorizing the world. They disappeared in the 1980s following the formation of GI Joe but resurfaced again after the millennium. Much of Shocker's soldiers feature moderate subdermal cybernetic enhancements. This feature has been present since Shocker's formation, though it has been a mystery as to how they gained this technology. With Shocker's resurgence, they have been fielding even more powerful cyborg soldiers. They are quickly becoming a major threat once again.

I like them both. Good idea using the IJ torso with 25th legs. I'll have to try that sometime.

I also like your new terrorist group. I'd be curious to hear more about their back-story.

Great work, OB

Both are really cool, and I think that when I re-read this I will grow to appreciate the Shocker the most. But right now I can't get that guerilla fighter out of my head, and will soon be on my way to pick up some clearanced Germans. GREAT idea there.

That is so awesome mixing Kamen Rider and Joes. Will you also be making Shinigama?

Both figures look great! The Kamen rider kicking the Guerilla is that custom or from an established line?

He's from the Wave 1 Motion Revive Series toyline.

I wish. That's way more white paint than I care to use, plus finding the right kind of body and head will be a major pain. If the Toht figure had actually come out, it would've pretty much been a done deal, but now, I'm not so sure.

Both figures are cool but Shocker is very cool.
That might be one to copy.

Almost two weeks late, but these are great!

GEE GEE!

You should take some pictures of Ichigo rider-kicking that guy around.

I plan on it. He isn't the only Shocker I made though. I've got three more: a trooper variant, a shotgunner, and a black ops trooper. I'm starting work on a Shinigami as well, but I'm not too pleased with how it looks. He's looking more Revolver Ocelot than Dr. Shinigami.

A Shinigami custom would look cool with Skywalker's robe from the recent Dark Empire comic pack.
