That is a sweet headsculpt - and the armor would be good custom fodder for plenty of applications.

He won't ever be Ripcord to me, but he might make a decent beret-less Stalker...

That figure would make for an excellent updated Wraith. You know, one that can move its arms.

Every time I hear "accelerator suit" I can't help but think of this:

Looks like a good figure to me, and I gotta say, the superbowl preview did get me interested in the movie.

With a different head that figure will make an AWESOME troop builder!

And though he'll never be Ripcord, that head is very well sculpted and will make a great new character.

I like him. Looking forward to seeing all the movie figures in person.

Umm, I do have a positive attitude about the movie, its just not my cup of joe. You might have noticed that if you would identify individuals, as opposed to putting a big group of us in a pile, lol.

The toys, though, bleh, a few sniper buys here and there, but mostly a pass for me. This however, is a toy that has potential, like the gunship.

Just not liking the accelerator suits - although it does come with the removable helmet (always a plus).

Maybe its because I was watching old Raw and Delirious videos last night, but that head screams Eddie Murphy to me. Place that head on a Todd (McFarlane) the bum figure, and you got yourself an Axel Foley.

I thought the same thing. At certain angles its looks like Eddie, but straight on I see Marlon Wayans. Its a good likeness.

Not crazy about the accelerator suits for the Joes, but I can see a lot of ways the figure could be used to army build something with and not have much work into it. Having the helmet makes it even easier to do something with so I could see maybe getting a few of them.

The head has sort of a Stalker look going on so that's another plus going for it since I could replace the 25th Stalker's small head with this one and I'm thinking hey it's a start on making some sort of Resolute Stalker instead of having to wait on Hasbro.

Ha ha, who knows some one might even do some sort of Clone Wars thing with it since the accelerator suits look like something out of Star Wars instead of GI Joe.

Oh darn almost forgot since we have all the 4" Marvel stuff coming out I'm sure this figure would be a good base for some customs there as well.

New ripcord pwns the hell out of old ripcord. Probably more fun to hang out with too.
