Without spoiling what you get with the codes, I have to say I was expecting a little more.

Daredevil's is kind of...ouch. You'll have to see it.

What I find most interesting about the site is that the Wave 2 codes don't work yet. Or Iron fist...he has no file

Wow  That is a lot of nothing. I was expecting some kind of CGIed animation of teh characters with a decent bio and a reading list for the comics, or at least an online comic.

What we got sucks big time.

I admit its not impressive, but I understand that kids might enjoy it.
Heck I even ran around the house to find my Iron-Man file.

So, they talked about doing a Nick Fury mail-away, and I can't tell what from the packaging I'm supposed to be saving for that. Any insight?

Man, I have no idea. I'm saving every part of the packages, including all the inserts just in case.

the mail away is still ago based on what was shown at Toy Fair. I guess maybe pushed back to be like the Doc mailway and tie in with the comic packs.

I actually like the website so far.. I'm hoping more content will be added.

I think that was a pretty cool in-story way to explain the choice of THAT particular figure.
Since that's been rumored to be a possible route the comics take.

Nope all the codes are not the same. They open the same memos I think.
I wasn't expecting much. They might even add some CGI stuff for later waves. Who knows.
I bet the comic packs is where we will find more info on the mail-away Fury. Those come out in September after SDCC.
Wave 5 is already setup. Those are the classified photos. If you look at the code then they get names.
wave 5 = Spiderman2, Guardian, Iron Man Silver, Submariner, and Electro

I think Secret Wars is actually going to hit a little sooner. If we are getting two waves in 09 I bet wave one will hit this summer and wave two the fall.

Lots of people are wondering what Spiderman 2 could be.I think popular feeling is the Ben Reilly Spiderman outfit..... then I started thinking.. a few weeks ago I saw someone on ebay with a"Custom Scarlet Spider MU" figure with packaging... and i seem to recall the package art looking pretty similar to Frank Cho's art. Interesting in fuzzy hindsight.

My guess would also be for the comic book packs are how we are going to end up getting the mail away figure. Just seems easier to pack the needed forms into a comic book pack than into the single figure packs.

Of course it shouldn't be too much of a problem if they handle it like the Joe line has with the comic book packs giving us figures we couldn't get in single packs.

I wasn't expecting much from the codes, so I thought it was neat.

wouldn't be hasbro without repaints repaints repaints.

How many spiderman/snake eyes and iron man/cobra commanders do we need?

Still, electro is a neat choice.
