Liked the Ferret ATV, liked the COIL and Skull Squad versions that the Convention did a couple of years back, but I had to go with the COBRA MORAY! Here was the first aquatic-type vehicle that really LOOKED like a boat. The detail on the top deck was amazing, and there was tons of "play value" to it, as well. Also really liked the Lamprey. The Night Force version of this vehicle was also awesome, and I liked the Convention editions. Could've probably lived without the puke-decked peace-symbol-stickered version...

But the MORAY still rules! :-D

My opinions on the Ferret and the Moray have changed so much over the years it is kind of amazing to me. As a kid the moray was the greatest vehicle ever. The Ferret was cool but not nearly as great. Over the years the ferret has remained a strong vehicle simply because it was built better and held up better. As an adult I got a few Morays and was able to complete them back to their glory. I also got the Con Tiger Force version. The moray is still a great vehicle with tons of play value, but it also one of the most fragile. It also loses points for not being able to float.

So on the one hand you have this great vehicle that loses its luster over time versus a good vehicle that never loses anything. The Con Ferrets are pretty cool and a lot different than the regular release. For a smaller vehicle it has a bit more play value than you would expect with the missiles, the real steering, and the compartment.

Toss up between the Moray and the Trubble Bubble.

Moray wins out due to the comics epic battles between the Morays and the Whale, and the TTBP.

Tough choice between the Moray and the Ferret, but I went Ferret. I've got two of the original and one of the TF version, and they've always found a place in just about every Joe battle I've ever waged. It's pretty much indispensable. Small, a good mix of weaponry, seats two, fast, mobile, and truly built for rugged play--there's just so much to like about the Ferret.

This might be too bold a statement, but in terms of price point, I'm not sure the Ferret can be beaten by anything else in the line, then or now. It's simply a classic.

Must be my love of the cartoon as a kid, but the Cobra Flight Pod is my favorite of all these even over the Moray. I have to echo pluv, the Moray is just too danged fragile.

I agonized over this one...the Ferret was one of the best Cobra vehicles ever. Kind of like the land version of the Fang; it was small, sturdy, cool, and super useful.

But I went with the Moray. Yes it was fragile, yes it was expensive, but once it came along Cobra pretty much ruled the waters. I don't think the Joes have ever had anything that could match its speed and firepower.

1. Moray. I believe the new Cobra symbol on the sides made his first appearance on this vehicle and it fits perfectly.
2. Ferret, Flight Pod and Night Landing. All three beautiful small vehicles. They got a lot of use in the comics and cartoons. Uhm, except maybe the Night Landing, but still......

ferret, never had the cobra version, but the TF version was just too sweet.

I had the moray, but eehhh, not as much fun, it was just too big for my battles, whereas the ferret was always carrying a joe operative to the TD, lol.
