Yup. Much as I love 25th, that wouldn't be worth it. Didn't want it in ARAH form, don't want it in 25th.

The Club can't use the 25th tooling yet, so no one has to worry. And even if they could, does anyone really think that they would do a Con set that was an exact duplication of a past Con set, only in a different format?

The GIJCC has outright stated that the vintage Real American Hero tooling is their canvas of choice going forward.

Justin

Something "new" = new sculpt
Actually, old & new could be mixture of ARAH & New Sculpt parts (which the club has already started doing, and asked fans if they mind using more new sculpt parts)

"Bends More" nails it down that the old Action Force that had star wars articulation.
I am you (GIJOE) and you are me (Action Force), but we have our own army.

I think the last hint about "not shadows" was to tell you if was Action Force specifically....vice red shadows.

If they start using "new sculpt" stylings that will be total phailure. It's enough with the "bonus" figs, but not in the Con set.

Just to play devil's advocate though, Fun Publications has been known to be less than 100% up front and honest in the past....

I honestly think that they are going with the RAH tooling, but it wouldn't surprise me what so ever if they suddenly started showing 25a styled figures, or NS either for that matter.

I would prefer Red Shadows in 25th style though they can't do that yet. I am over the whole ARAH style. When I go to the con, i may keep them just for nostalgia purposes..but my focus is on the 25th.

Let's not stir up controversy before we know anything? I think the consencus is that anything other than RAH from the club is unlikely at this time, there's no need to kick up the dust at this point

Sorry, not trying to stir up controversy (any more than it was, long before my post :shifty: ). I was just trying to point out that there are many people who aren't going to completely believe something, simply because the GIJCC "said so".

While I don't necessarily agree with their point of view, I can certainly understand where they are coming from.

man. the only thing worse than a 25th crimson set would be a new sculpt crimson set.

Hear hear! If that was the case, I'd be buying the 12" Attendee package.
