Looks like it would just need a little aluminum polish, to get a nice chrome like look.

Here are my results with aluminum tape:

Not as cleanly applied as MarkM's and certainly not as good as Greyryder's Monokote. But let me tell you, it's a pain to apply it without getting any dents or wrinkles, especially on a smooth surface like the Viper's faceplate! :rant:

Hmm... How did you apply yours? I usually don't have too much of a problem with it. I'll cut a piece that's bigger than the area I'm covering, then line up one edge and use a blunt tool to slowly work it flat, pressing the wrinkles out as I go. As long as you don't use a lot of pressure, you'll be able to pull it back up if you need to, at least a couple of times. Then once you have it looking like you want, use your tool to press it down firmly, then use a knife to trim excess.

I have some alum tape & like the ideas, guys.
Will a polishing wheel on a Dremel work maybe, to give it some sheen? I wanna try that when I get home.

Be really carefull with it. I've seen those chew up plastic.
