I haven't worked on a ninja since my first venture into GI Joe customs. This guy is kinda a test of different way to weather, and some new accessories.

This picture sucks and I don't understand why when I used the same settings as the others.

Red Ninja with the belt removed and replaced. The bo staff is a cooking skewer cut to size. I want to add a grip area to it soon. The dagger and chain blade thingy (real name escapes me right now) are from Blasterman (Obi-Shinobi) the sword is 25th Snake Eyes and is WAY too thick, and the cross bow is from Beachhead.

Questions, comments, gripes...

Very cool. I'm going to have to copy some of this and reallocate my red ninjas to my Marvel Universe collection.

I like the weathering, the custom weapons are cool.

Nice job on the weathering. It doesn't look inky or glossy like paint wipes. It brings out the details, exactly what you wanted, I'd say.

The weapons are clever, but I only really like the bo staff. Otherwise there are so many ninja weapons in the line that it's hard to get excited for more.

Couple of small updates on the progress of my 'weapons training.'

Made a much more acceptable bow.

And a home made tonfa.

The figure itself is starting to have a kind of American Ninja vibe to him...which I think is pretty cool.

Indeed this last figure would be a great base for a Joe Armstrong custom.
All you need is to paint his belt red and his wrist bands black. You'll need to make a Jackson figure to share his adventure.

I'm starting to attempt to make my own bladed weapons.

I'm working on swords right now. It's going OK. Couple of WIP shots for now.
