Stargate Atlantis: Ronan Dex

This is (most likely) the last of my custom Stargate team (from the SG tv shows anyway :shifty:

). I need to repaint Carter's hair before I can do a new group shot.

This one was the most tricky to do, and so is the most satisfying.

I think he came out pretty good...

What do you think?

great likeness,but he looks a bit too skinny.i say fantastic job overall,he even has the glare going,very intimdating.

Thanks! Yaes, the dreads are brown yarn with Elmer's glue smeared/pressed into it. A messy task, but it achieved the look I was hoping for. I got the idea from a custom I saw once, by Pluv I think, way back when. I wish I could find it now, cuz it was awesome.

Yea, I saw that head and I was like "PERFECT!" He may be a touch on the skinny side, but I think I can live with that for now, because I like everything else about this guy so much.

very creative way to tackle that look.

only critique I'd wonder about is that unless the flash is just messing with the colors, it looks like there are some flesh tone inconsistencies. But you really don't notice it unless you're examining the pictures really closely for detail, as I was.

Great job overall, and I really dig your Stargate customs.

Not a huge fan of the character (or of SG Altantas in general) but you nailed it perfectly. Great work.
